Carol McLennan, MSN, APRN, PMHCNS, FNP-C, is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years’ experience working as a registered nurse in a variety of settings, including surgery, home health, and adult, adolescent, and child psychiatry. 

Carol served 21 years in the Army Reserve, primarily as a nurse at the Veteran’s Administration and Fort Knox, and retired as a Major. Since 1998, she has gained excellent experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner across child, adolescent, and adult settings, including Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health (adult/adolescent inpatient and outpatient programs), The Brook Psychiatric Hospitals (child, adolescent, and adult programs), Fort Knox where she treated active duty and retired military patients as well as their families, and in private practice settings. 

Carol enjoys working with a wide range of mental health concerns across the lifespan and has expertise in the areas of ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar, trauma/PTSD, and behavioral disorders.

Carol is married and has two adult sons. She enjoys reading, walking, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog.

Carol is currently accepting new patients and offers some evening appointments. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
